THE 2016 EMEDITH ESSAY COMPETITION FOR PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NIGERIA.
Our yearly essay competition for Public Secondary School Students is here again, where cash awards are presented by our CEO/Head Consultant, MrEMEDITH each year to 3 public school students who distinguish themselves in a particular essay
All entries will be received from students of Public Senior Secondary School Students in Nigeria.
In 800-1000 words, ‘How can you, as a Secondary School Student, enable a better Nigerian economy?’
GUIDELINES FOR THE ESSAY COMPETITION
- Essay must be no fewer than 800 and no more than 1000 words in length.
- Essay will be judged on both style and content.
- Each essay will also be judged based on writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Essay will also be evaluated in a fair and unbiased judging process.
MODE AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Be informed that the essays should be sent as an attachment to email@example.com and the subject of the email should read “The 2016 EMEDITH Essay competition” The students should send in their typed essays in Microsoft Word format via email from Tuesday 4th October 2016 till 5pm on Wednesday, 30th November, 2016.
PARTICIPANTS: The competition is open to all senior secondary school students of public schools in Nigeria. The students are advised to put their names in full, date of birth, class, school, contact address and phone number(s) at the beginning of their essays. A failure to include these details will amount to a disqualification.
WINNERS AND AWARDS: The positions of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be carefully selected by the panel of judges and the cash prizes are N50,000.00, N35,000.00 and N15,000.00 respectively. The awards and cash prizes will be delivered to the winners on a date and venue to be communicated to the winning students.
We are of assurance that this yearly essay competition will be of advantage to the school and students as the winners will not only bring recognition and prestige to the school but also to themselves, their parents and guardians. Students hurry and do not be left out!!!
